Two soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division were killed Wednesday in Iraq, according to the Department of Defense.
Staff Sgt. Juantrea T. Bradley, 28, of Greenville, N.C. and Pfc. Tenzin L. Samten, 33, of Prescott, Ariz., died in Tallil of wounds suffered when their vehicle was hit by indirect fire.
Both soldiers were serving with the 7th Special Troops Battalion, 7th Sustainment Brigade based out of Fort Eustis, Va.
Sgt. Bradley joined the Army in 2002 and was assigned to the 7th Sustainment Brigade in June 2007. He had served in Kuwait from February to August 2002 and in Iraq from January to July 2003.
He is survived by his wife and four children.
Pfc. Samten enlisted in 2006 and was assigned to the 7th Sustainment Brigade in May 2007. He was on his first deployment. Pfc. Samten is survived by his wife and two children.
Another soldier, Spc. Dustin C. Jackson, 21, of Arlington, Texas, serving with the 350th Adjutant General Company, also was killed in the attack.
