CARTHAGE — Lawrence H. Ellard, 71, of 222 State St., died Tuesday at his home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bossuot-Lundy Funeral Home, 500 State St. The body will be entombed in the columbarium at the Church of Ascension, Virginia Beach, Va.
