Mr. & Mrs. J.A. Keohane -- 50 years

James A. and Helen Keohane, Watertown, celebrated their 50th anniversary March 22 with a private family dinner at the Carriage House Restaurant.

Mr. Keohane, son of the late James and Eva Kraeger Keohane, and Mrs. Keohane, daughter of the late Walter and Victoria Matuszczak Benych, were married April 26, 1958, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lowville.

Mr. Keohane served in the Army, was employed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. and is a retired state trooper. He is a member of the Elks Club and enjoys gardening.

Mrs. Keohane retired from employment at Holy Family Church. She is a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and enjoys painting and playing bridge.

The couple has four sons, Ronald, Tyngsborough, Mass., Peter, Dexter, John, Richmond, Va., and Timothy, Brewerton; a daughter, Mary Keohane, Glen Allen, Va., and 13 grandchildren.
