Mohawk International Raceway, formerly Frogtown International Speedway, will open its season Saturday night with the Mohawk 30 highlighting the race program.

The Mohawk 30 will feature the DIRTcar 358 modifieds with $1,500 going to the winner. The UMP (United Midwest Promoters) DIRT pro stocks, semipros, bandits and enduros are also on the racing card.

■ Thunder Alley Speedpark in Evans Mills will feature sportsman, street stocks, pure stocks, thunder cars and mod lites on tonight's race schedule.

■ A 30-lap DIRTcar modified feature will highlight Saturday night's race program at Can-Am Motorsports Park in LaFargeville with $1,500 awarded to the winning race team. A 25-lap DIRTcar 358 modified feature, and racing in the sportsman, IMCA modifieds, street stocks, thunder cars and mod lites also are scheduled.

■ Open practice is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Oswego Speedway for Sunday's 58th Season Coca-Cola Kickoff. The Midwest Supermodified Association (MSA)-Oswego Wing Series highlights the race program that begins at 2 p.m.

■ A test-and-tune and inspection session is scheduled for noon Saturday at the Adirondack International Speedway in New Bremen.
