Wes Roberts of Jefferson Community College captured the Mid-State Conference individual golf title on Saturday during the Red Baron Invitational at Corning.

Roberts fired a 78 to lead all conference players and led JCC to a second-place team finish. Roberts also tied for third overall in the invitational. Joe Roberts shot 84, Josh Becker 86 and Greg Urbanowicz 87 as JCC finished second to Tompkins Cortland CC in the conference race and third in the invitational.

Sunday at the Tompkins Cortland Invitational at Elm Tree Golf Course in Cortland, the Roberts brothers each shot 75 to tie for fifth place. Urbanowicz added a 77 as JCC placed sixth in a 12-team field.
