I have been hearing about the food shortage and high grocery prices for a while. I decided the best thing I can do about it is to get rid of my habits of overeating and use the money I save on grocery bills to buy nonperishable food items for the Urban Mission.
I can't do anything about the price of ethanol or gasoline, and I can't change fuel policies, but I think people can do something about their eating habits, and they can use the money they save to feed the hungry. This won't change things overnight, but it will relieve some of the pain some people feel.
