Three Watertown High School students were arraigned Wednesday in Jefferson County Court on charges that they had and sold cocaine in Watertown.
Jamie M. Maitland Jr., 1333 Ohio St., Jordan M. Reardon, 420 S. Meadow St., and Kenneth M. LeGreci, 718 Coffeen St., all 18, face two counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The charges were contained in grand jury indictments unsealed Wednesday morning in court.
It is alleged that Mr. Maitland had and sold cocaine on two occasions in mid-April; that Mr. Reardon had and sold the drug twice in mid-March; and Mr. LeGreci sold cocaine once in late March and again in early April.
All three pleaded not guilty to the charges and were sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $5,000 bail. The three were arrested by the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force on Tuesday morning at the school, although the task force said none of the alleged drug sales occurred at the school and none of the students is charged with having drugs on school property.
