CARTHAGE — Katie Ferris tallied six goals, and Katherine DeRonda added three goals and seven assists as Carthage defeated Cazenovia 18-9 for a nonleague girls lacrosse victory Friday.
Kailah Kempney supplied three goals while Gabrielle Kamide finished with two goals and three assists for the Comets (10-3), ranked sixth in the state in Class B.
Kara Cannizarro led Cazenovia, ranked ninth in the state in Class C, with five goals and two assists.
