OGDENSBURG — Katie Nelson struck out 16 and threw a one-hit shutout to lead OFA to a 12-0 victory over Tupper Lake in a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division softball game Monday.
She also added three hits for the Blue Devils (5-3 overall and division). MaryBeth Davis added a two-run homer for OFA.
Amber Lawyer broke up Nelson's no-hitter for Tupper Lake (0-8) with a two-out single in the sixth inning.
MALONE 15, GOUVERNEUR 2
Erica Johnson struck out seven in four innings of relief pitching to help lead the Wildcats past Gouverneur in a Central Division game in Malone.
Brittany Marshall, Abby Premo and Emily Sharlow each had two hits for the Huskies (10-1, 9-0), who built a 7-0 lead after two innings.
Lacy Redman had two hits for the Wildcats (3-5).

Krista Oakes picked up two wins, compiling 12 strikeouts, and also homered in game two as Salmon River swept an East Division doubleheader from the Panthers (2-8, 2-6) in Brushton.
Joelle Porter and Amber Debyah each picked up two hits in each game, including home runs in game two, for Salmon River (14-1, 11-0). Shayna Russell and Autum Kenney each had two hits for Brushton-Moira in the second game.

Khalshia White went 3-for-4 in game two of an East Division doubleheader in St. Regis Falls for the Saints (1-7) leading the team to its first win of the season. Brittany Fountain and Aleesha LaBounty each added two hits for the Saints.
Cambray Merrick had two hits in each game for Madrid-Waddington (6-6, 4-5).

Emily Fuller picked up three hits to lead the Cougars (10-1, 9-0) past Clifton-Fine in a West Division game in Star Lake.
Miranda Typhair, Vanessa Bullock and Kristyn Tebo each had two hits for Edwards-Knox. Olivia Langevin, Jordan Sullivan, Beth Meek and Ashley White each had two hits for the Eagles (0-8).

Jessie Mehaffy struck out six to lead Lisbon (6-2) past the Green Rockets in a West Division game in Morristown. Paige Aldridge and Megan Kanaly each had two hits for Morristown (3-11, 2-8).
HARRISVILLE 8, HERMON-DEKALB 4
Jeri Baker hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth as the Pirates (3-6) snapped a 2-2 tie by scoring six runs in a West Division game in Harrisville.
Katie French went 2-for-3, including a triple, and drove in two runs and Sam Wood went 2-for-4 for Harrisville. Whitney Stiles went 2-for-4 for the Demons (5-8, 5-6).
HEUVELTON 13, HAMMOND 4
Casey Donnelly struck out 14 and allowed just three hits to lead the Bulldogs past Hammond (6-2) in a West Division game in Heuvelton.
Donnelly also went 2-for-5 and drove in three runs for the Bulldogs (8-5, 6-3). Heather Johnson and Sam Weaver each had three hits for Heuvelton.
Cheyenne Martin, Megan Johnson and Chelsea Bice added two hits for the Bulldogs and Nicole Davidson had two hits for Hammond.
