A Watertown woman pleaded guilty Friday in Jefferson County Court to a charge that she stole more than $3,000 from DealMaker Auto Group while working at one of its dealerships.
Sarah A. Yerdon,24, of 457 Portage St., pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny. Sentencing was set for July 7.
She was accused of pocketing money received from customers from Aug. 1 to Nov. 26 while working as a service adviser at DealMaker Ford, 18392 Route 11. After taking the money, which totaled $3,322 over 10 transactions, she marked the customers' bills as having been paid in full. She is expected to be ordered to pay full restitution at sentencing.

Victor P. Leponto,28, Watertown, was resentenced to nine months in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building after admitting he violated probation. He will be credited for an unspecified amount of time already served.
He was sentenced to five years' probation in December 2006 after pleading guilty in November 2006 to second-degree attempted assault for hitting Shawneen M. Lobb in the head with a flashlight. According to court documents, he violated probation by failing to attend substance abuse counseling sessions.
Heather L. Chamberlain,30, no fixed address, was sentenced to three years' probation after pleading guilty Feb. 29 to second-degree criminal contempt. She was charged with slapping and pushing Amber M. Long, who held an order of protection against her, Jan. 20 at a Franklin Street apartment.
Paul T. Converse,26, of 26989 Victory Lane, pleaded guilty to second-degree reckless endangerment. Sentencing was set for July 18. He was accused of hitting Jonathan A. Hubbard on the head with a beer bottle during a Nov. 22 altercation at a Factory Street nightclub.
He pleaded guilty using a partial Alford plea, meaning he did not admit to all of the allegations. In court, he admitted he was involved in an altercation with Mr. Hubbard, but denied that he hit him with a bottle.
Rita F. Martin,47, of 231 E. Main St., pleaded guilty to petit larceny using a partial Alford plea. Sentencing was set for July 2. She was accused of being with two men Sept. 28 while they were stealing copper wiring from a trailer on Plaza Drive in the town of Pamelia.
