Saratoga snaps losing skid by edging Wizards

SARATOGA — Domonique Rodgers smacked a pair of doubles to help the Saratoga Phillies upend the Watertown Wizards, 4-3, in a NYCBL Eastern Division matchup Tuesday.

Chris Buss added an RBI double for Saratoga (11-18), which halted a five-game losing streak. The victory combined with a Bennington loss catapulted the Phillies into fourth place in the division.

Greg Herbst collected two hits and drove in a run for the Wizards (10-19). Malone's Derek Marshall supplied an RBI double.
