MONDAY, AUGUST 4, 2008

BEAVER FALLS — The Beaver River Central School District is seeking candidates interested in filling a vacancy on the Board of Education.

Board member Jamie L. Tabolt had to resign because she recently moved out of the district.

District residents who would like to fill the remainder of Mrs. Tabolt's term through June 30 are asked to submit a letter of interest to Superintendent Leueen Smithling at P.O. Box 179, Beaver Falls, N.Y. 13305 by Thursday.

The Board of Education plans to review the letters at its Aug. 11 meeting.

Mrs. Tabolt's five-year term expires June 30, 2011. Candidates who wish to fill out the final two years of the term will have to run for the seat next May.
