Hart House Inn owners list Wellesley Island B&B
THURSDAY, AUGUST 7, 2008

The owners of the Hart House Inn have put the Wellesley Island bed and breakfast on the market for $1.45 million.

Arthur D. Mook and his wife, Jennifer Jo Morgan, bought the restaurant at 21979 Club Road, Wellesley Island, in 2005 from Dudley and Kathy Danielson for $1.2 million.

The couple opened an upscale restaurant and eight guest suites at the historic property in 2006.

Ms. Morgan said by e-mail that the couple was not ready to talk about the sale and that the online listing price was inaccurate, but would not comment further.

Hart House was constructed in 1872 and was moved from Heart Island in 1900. Past owners have included George C. Boldt and Edward J. Noble.

Associate broker Gerri Armani, with Prudential First Properties, is handling the property listing.
