FINEVIEW — Pastor Frederica Webb and the congregation of Wellesley Island United Methodist Church will celebrate the church's 100th anniversary at 7 p.m. Saturday and at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at the church on County Route 100.

On Saturday, light refreshments will be served and entertainment will be provided by Hymns & Hers, a group of singers who perform popular contemporary Christian music, as well as guitar music by the Rev. Donald W. Briant, Clayton. Previous pastors of the church also will attend to give greetings.

During worship service Sunday morning, "a special visitor" is expected to give a speech. The event is free and open to the public.
