OGDENSBURG — The Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority extended its operating hours at the Port of Ogdensburg to load wind turbine parts onto barges destined for Wolfe Island, Ontario, in the St. Lawrence River.

The Wolfe Island project calls for installation of 86 turbines by year's end.

The change was effective Monday. OBPA didn't establish set hours because loading times will vary. The port's normal operating hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
