FORT DRUM — The 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry, 2nd Brigade Combat Team will return to Fort Drum later this week after a two-month deployment to West Point.

While at West Point, the soldiers helped train future officers during the military academy's annual summer camp.

Once the soldiers are home, they will go on leave. They will return to Fort Drum in October, before they are sent to Fort Polk, La., and the Joint Readiness Training Center, where the brigade will prepare for its deployment in summer 2009.
