Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County will host a workshop on covered growing structures known as high tunnels from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Almedan Produce, 13501 Route 155, Adams Center.

Cornell University high tunnel specialist H. Christian Wien, high tunnel vegetable specialist Judson Reid and grower Almeda M. Grandjean, owner of Almedan Produce, will speakabout high tunnel design, construction and management. The program was funded by the Northern New York Agricultural Development Program.
