GOUVERNEUR — The American College of Radiology has accredited Edward John Noble Hospital for three years in mammography.

The ACR, Reston, Va., a national organization, conducts peer reviews of hospital practices. Evaluations are conducted by experts in the field who assess the qualifications of the personnel and adequacy of equipment. Surveyors report their findings to the ACR's Committee on Accreditation, which provides a comprehensive report.
