The town of Rutland residents have a clear choice on Sept. 9 for Town Council. Colleen Woolley is dedicated to do what is right for the whole town. She is willing to ask the hard questions, even if they are unpopular.
During my campaign for office, I constantly heard the people say we do need a certain level of services with keeping our taxes stable. In order to give this to town residents we must stay within a budget. Colleen Woolley will do this as she is honest, straightforward and has the experience to do the job.
The other candidate has a record; examine it. Each year he has sat on the Fire Commissioners Board the tax rate has increased (most of the time to the constitutional limit). He was one of the main supporters for the proposed new fire hall that would have been totally financed by you, the taxpayers of Rutland.
You have a clear choice for Town Council, and my vote will be going to Colleen Woolley.
