POTSDAM — Ginette Cornett supplied one goal and one assist to lead the Potsdam girls soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Madrid-Waddington in the championship game of the John Jeffers Tournament Saturday at Potsdam High School.

Cassie Grace and Jill Tardelli also scored for the Sandstoners (2-0). Monique Cornett made five saves to shut out the Yellowjackets (1-1).

PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 8,

COLTON-PIERREPONT 0

Stephanie Cox led the Panthers in the consolation game with four goals in a win over Colton-Pierrepont (0-2). Brooke Waite and Trishalyn Guyette each added one goal and one assist for the Panthers (1-1).

Emily Sloan and Kara Robinson also scored for the Panthers. Brittany Remington and Rikki Paul combined for three saves in the shutout.

HARRISVILLE 4, CANTON 1

The Pirates (2-0) scored two goals in each half to claim a win over Canton in the championship game of the Cougar Classic in Russell.

Hunter Fowler, Katelyn Hart, Leah Malbeuf and Mary LaPlatney scored for the Pirates. Katelyn Fanning scored for the Golden Bears (1-1).

EDWARDS-KNOX 5,

HERMON-DEKALB 1

Clara Davis tallied three goals to lead the Cougars (1-1) past Hermon-DeKalb in the consolation game of the Cougar Classic. Kamrie Dandrow recorded one goal and two assists, and Regina Reece added a goal for Edwards-Knox. Natasha Sayer scored for the Demons (0-2).

HEUVELTON 2, GOUVERNEUR 0

Heather Johnson scored two goals to lead the Bulldogs past Gouverneur (1-1) in the championship game of the OFA Tournament. Casey Donnelly made six saves for Heuvelton (2-0).

OFA 4, LISBON 1

Kirsten Morley scored three goals to lead the Blue Devils (1-1) past Lisbon in the consolation game of the OFA Tournament. Chelsea Martin also scored for OFA.

Sheena Seguin scored the only goal for Lisbon (0-2).

MALONE 2,

NORTHERN ADIRONDACK 2 (OT)

The Huskies (0-1-1) picked up a tie in the consolation game of the Northeastern Clinton Tournament but lost the shootout 3-2 to finish in fourth place. Brittany Marshall and Erica Johnson each had one goal and one assist for Malone.

LAKE PLACID 1, TUPPER LAKE 0 (OT)

Alex McFadden scored the game-winning goal in the 93rd minute to clinch the Tupper Lake Tournament championship in Tupper Lake.

Sam Puckhaber made seven saves to get the win and shutout for Lake Placid.

Maegan Duhaime tended net and made eight saves for the Lumberjacks (1-1).

INDIAN LAKE 4, CLIFTON-FINE 2

Ashley White and Kaitlin McCormick scored for the Eagles (0-2) in a loss against Indian Lake in the consolation game of the Tupper Lake Tournament.

LOWVILLE 4, MASSENA 3

Kiana Beller nailed a high-arching shot into the upper right-hand corner of the goal in the 57th minute to lift Lowville to victory in the championship game of the Lewis County Stop DWI Tournament at Lowville.

Rachel Ashley provided two first-half goals, and Olivia Hanno also scored for Lowville (2-0).

Kristen Paller contributed one goal and an assist, and Myssa LaClaire and Paulina Behrens added goals for Massena (1-1).

THOUSAND ISLANDS 8,

BEAVER RIVER 5

Courtney Henry netted five goals — three in the first half — to lead the Vikings to a victory in the championship game of the Ed Beerman Tournament at Clayton. The game also counted in the Frontier League "C" Division standings.

Emily Kellogg added a pair of goals and three assists, while Jessica Little also scored for Thousand Islands (2-0, 1-0).

Angeline Waryasz fueled Beaver River's attack with four goals, while Emily Zehr added a score. Laura Ludes assisted three times for the Beavers (1-1, 0-1).

LAFARGEVILLE 2, LYME 0

Kendra Cole and Mariah Woodburn each scored first-half goals to power the Red Knights (1-1) to victory in the consolation game of the Ed Beerman Tournament.

Tamara Ives made nine saves in the shutout.

Lyme is 0-2.

Ryan Bercume scored two goals, and Jordan LaPointe added one goal with one assist to lead the Bears past Parishville-Hopkinton (0-1-1) in the championship game of the John Jeffers Tournament at Potsdam High School.

Devin Gruneisen and Andrew Matott also scored for the Sandstoners (2-0). Ben Steinberg made six saves for the shutout.

Jordan Kendall made eight saves for Madrid-Waddington (0-1-1) and Nick Monast made 11 saves for the Colts (0-0-2) in the consolation game of the John Jeffers Tournament.

SOUTH JEFFERSON 6,

EDWARDS-KNOX 1

Tom Young supplied two goals and one assist to lead the Spartans (1-0-1) to a win in the championship game of the Cougar Classic in Russell.

Spencer Parson added two goals for the Spartans. Chris Besaw and Shay Dunning also scored for South Jefferson. Dan Corbine scored for the Cougars (1-1).

GOUVERNEUR 3, CHATEAUGAY 0

Matthew Weaver scored two goals as Gouverneur won the Edwards-Knox tournament championship over Chateaugay in Russell.

Weaver's two goals came within seven minutes of each other in the second half. Nicholas Cotton-Baez scored the first goal for the Wildcats (1-0-1).

Kyle Demers was stopped 16 shots for Chateaugay (1-1).

Nate Wood scored in the 60th minute to give the Pirates a win over Clifton-Fine (0-2) in the consolation game of the LaFargeville Tournament. Tom Coloney made three saves for the Pirates (1-1).

CANTON 1, BEEKMANTOWN 0

Trent Durocher made 13 saves to record a shutout and Colin Howard scored off a pass from Colby Young in the final minute of the first half to give the Golden Bears (1-1) a win over Beekmantown in the consolation game of the Chazy Tournament.
