OGDENSBURG — Ogdensburg Free Academy sophomore Dave Crowder scored in the 78th minute to bring the Blue Devils to a tie with the Gouverneur Wildcats, 2-2, in a Central Division boys soccer game Tuesday night.
The Wildcats struck first when Nick Cotton-Baez scored in the 24th minute. OFA answered back with a goal from Erik Whitcombe.
Gouverneur's Josh Hinrichs scored in the opening five minutes of the second half. Nathaniel Burgess made 13 saves for Gouverneur (1-0-2 overall, 0-0-1 division).
Brendan Merna matched Burgess with 13 stops for OFA (2-0-1, 0-0-1).
MASSENA 2, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 0
Nick Pichette had his foot in both Red Raiders goals in a Central Division game with Norwood-Norfolk in Massena.
Pichette assisted Derek Hammill for the first score in the 11th minute. He then took an assist from Mike Lashomb and Clay Allen and netted the second goal. Tom Ward made 14 saves for Massena (1-2, 1-0).
Pat Durant stopped 14 shots in net for the Flyers (1-1, 0-1).
POTSDAM 6, MALONE 2
The Huskies had no answer against the attacking Sandstoner offense in a lopsided victory for Potsdam in a Central Division game in Malone.
Ryan Bercume had three goals and assist for Potsdam (3-0, 1-0). Jordan LaPoint netted one goal and assisted on two others for the Sandstoners. Ben Steinberg made five stops for the win.
Brandon Aanerud scored the first and assisted on the second goal for Malone (0-1). Matt Teeple Malone's second goal.
SALMON RIVER 3,
MADRID-WADDINGTON 0
Cody Bingham scored the first two goals for the Shamrocks in an East Division win over Madrid-Waddington in Fort Convington.
Bingham also supplied an assist on the last goal by Dan Gerow. Steven Durant made six saves for Salmon River (1-0).
Madrid-Waddington is 0-2-1, 0-1.
LISBON 3, CLIFTON-FINE 0
The Golden Knights broke out for three goals after a scoreless first half to down Clifton-Fine in a West Division game in Lisbon.
Reece Armstrong struck first, then assisted on goals by Scott Lawton and Mike McDonnell. Zach Premo made four saves for Lisbon (2-1, 1-0).
Clifton-Fine is 0-3, 0-1.
HARRISVILLE 2, EDWARDS-KNOX 1
The Pirates needed just 30 seconds to score the game-winning goal in extra time to down Edwards-Knox in a West Division game in Russell.
Nate Wood fed Server Mustafaeve for the winning score in the sudden-victory period. Jason Thomas scored the first goal for Harrisville off an assist from Mustafaeve. Tom Coloney had six saves for the Pirates (2-1, 1-0).
Jon Corbine scored the only goal for the Cougars (0-3, 0-1).
HERMON-DEKALB 2, HEUVELTON 0
The Demons scored both their goals in the first half in a West Division win over the Bulldogs in Heuvelton.
Brandon Rust netted the first goal in the 8th minute and just eight minutes later, Logan Allen tacked on the insurance score for Hermon-DeKalb (1-0, 2-1).
