SYRACUSE —Syracuse will play host to Long Beach State at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 in the Carrier Dome in men's basketball.

It will be the second time the two hoop squads have met with both encounters in the Dome. SU defeated Long Beach State on Dec. 15, 1990, 94-79.

Long Beach State was 6-25 overall and 3-13 in the Big West Conference last season. Former Gonzaga and Minnesota coach Dan Monson is preparing for his second season in charge of the 49er program.
