LOWVILLE — Olivia Roggie scored on a cross from Katie Ferris in the sixth minute of the first overtime to give Carthage a 1-0 win over host Lowville in a nonleague girls soccer game on Wednesday.

Goalie Sarah Johnson made that goal stand up with 12 saves for Carthage (1-1-1 overall) with the help of a strong defensive game from sweeper Jessica Dobson-Tufo.

Rebecca Windover made seven saves for Lowville (2-1).

WATERTOWN 4, SOUTH JEFFERSON 1

Two goals by Taylor Hughes sparked the Cyclones to the nonleague victory at Adams.

Maureen Keggins and Bonny Gardner each contributed one goal and one assist for WHS (2-1)

Melissa Abbatte scored the lone goal for the Spartans (1-2).

IMMACULATE HEART 6,

GENERAL BROWN 0

Briana Guarino notched three goals and one assist as the Cavaliers blanked the host Lions in a nonleague game at Dexter.

Sarah Ward, Erin Patenaude and Emily LaLone added single goals for IHC (2-1). Goalie Elizabeth Snow made just three saves.

SACKETS HARBOR 5, ALEXANDRIA 0

Senior Dana Gorman scored the first four goals of the game to spark the host Patriots to the Frontier League "D'' Division win at Sackets Harbor.

Courtney Allen also scored for Sackets Harbor (1-0), while Danielle Intschert and Taylor Rouseau combined for just five saves to record the shutout.

LAFARGEVILLE 3, SANDY CREEK 3

Chelsea Claflin scored four minutes into the second overtime to give the hosts Comets a Frontier League crossover tie with the Red Knights at Sandy Creek.

Kendra Cole of LaFargeville (1-1-1) had put her team ahead with a goal six minutes into the first overtime.

Cole also scored a regulation goal, while Samantha Hunter also scored for LaFargeville. Taylor Fravel scored for Sandy Creek (0-0-1).

BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 2,

SOUTH LEWIS 1

Bailey Allen scored both goals for the Panthers, including a penalty kick in the second half, in a crossover victory at Turin.

Courtney Kohl recorded eight saves for Belleville Henderson (2-0, 1-0). Andrea Lisk scored for the Falcons (0-1).

BEAVER RIVER 2, LYME 0

Angeline Waryasz recorded a goal and an assist to lead the host Beavers to a crossover victory at Beaver Falls.

Katherine Updike scored the other goal for Beaver River (2-1, 1-1).

Alex Weston stopped 16 shots for Lyme (0-3, 0-1), while Beaver River's Taylor Farney needed just two saves to notch the shutout.

THOUSAND ISLANDS 3,

COPENHAGEN 0

The host Vikings remained undefeated with a crossover shutout at Sand Bay.

Courtney Henry scored twice and Mariah Doney added the other goal. Amber Dibble recorded the shutout with 16 saves for Thousand Islands (3-0, 2-0).

HEUVELTON 2, HERMON-DEKALB 0

Heather Johnson scored both goals the Bulldogs in a West Division win over the Demons in Heuvelton.

Johnson's two goals came in the first half with the first assisted by Amanda Pinkerton. She scored the second unassisted in the 39th minute. Casey Donnelly made eight saves for Heuvelton (3-0, 1-0).

Beth Zeller had 10 saves for Hermon-DeKalb (0-3, 0-1).

HAMMOND 1, MORRISTOWN 1

Late scoring led Hammond and Morristown to a Northern Athletic Conference West Division tie in each team's first game of the season in Morristown.

Morristown struck first when Chloe Whalen converted in the 56th minute. Sam Martin answered back with a goal three minutes later for Hammond.

Sarah LaBarge stopped 17 shots in net for Morristown.

HARRISVILLE 4, EDWARDS-KNOX 0

Leah Malbeuf started her senior with four goals against the Cougars in a West Division matchup in Harrisville.

Malbeuf scored twice in both the halves with Katlyn Hart assisting on two. Goalies Patty Coloney and Mary LaPlatney split time in net and made eight saves combined for Harrisville (3-0, 1-0).

Katie Stone stopped 16 shots for Edwards-Knox (1-2, 0-1).

LISBON 4, CLIFTON-FINE 2

Rachel Bowdish scored three times to lead the Golden Knights past the Eagles in a West Division contest in Star Lake.

Taylor Amo scored the fourth goal for Lisbon off an assist from Alison Akins and Taylor Armstrong in the 55th minute. Briana Teele need only five stops for Lisbon (1-2, 1-0).

Emily Lachut and Katie Donovan each scored for Clifton-Fine (1-2, 0-1). Chelsea Schoeff stopped 16 shots for the Eagles.

TUPPER LAKE 1, CANTON 0

Kayla Kenyon scored the only goal in the first half to give Tupper Lake a Central Division win over the Golden Bears in Canton.

Kenyon's score came in the 32nd minute. Meagan Duhaime made 15 saves for Tupper Lake (1-2, 1-0).

Kacie Wentworth stopped seven shots for Canton (1-2, 0-1).
