BAGHDAD, Iraq — The Department of Defense confirmed on Thursday night the death a 10th Mountain Division soldier.

Pfc. Patrick W. May, 22 and of Jamestown, died Sept. 2 in Baghdad from injuries that stemmed from a non-combat related incident.

He was assigned to the Division Special Troops Battalion.

The incident is under investigation.
