The numbers say it all.

1.208

That's the total number of goals Kaitlin Robbins scored during her five years as a girls varsity soccer player at Immaculate Heart Central. It ranks No. 1 on the state's all-time list, boys included. She helped IHC score 84 other goals with assists.

2.1

That's the number of Frontier League regular-season games Robbins lost at IHC. Total wins? 67. Robbins's only taste of defeat came during her first year on the Cavaliers' varsity squad. That year, 2002, IHC went on to share the state Class C championship after a scoreless tie with Allegany-Limestone in the final.

IHC captured Section 3 titles in her eighth-grade, freshman and sophomore seasons.

3.0

That's the number of complaints you'll hear come out of the mouth of Kurt Robbins when he reminisces about coaching his daughter for half of a decade at IHC. Coach Robbins remembers a player who had the "ability to think three steps ahead of what was going on at the time."

Vision, anticipation, timing. For Kaitlin Robbins, it was a beautiful blend. Her father explained it succinctly in a 2006 interview with the Times.

"God gave her a gift," he said.

People noticed.

A Frontier League All-Star in each of her five seasons, Robbins earned the Times All-North MVP award on three occasions and landed on the first team the other two years. In 2006, she was named the Times co-athlete of the year, sharing the honor with South Jefferson's Danielle Felice.

There's more: As a sophomore, she made the All-Central New York third team, the all-state first team and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America adidas East Regional Team. As a junior, she was third-team all-state, and as a senior, she was second-team All-CNY and second-team all-state, earning NSCAA East Regional recognition for a second time.

Robbins, who played on attack for her first four years at IHC before moving back to midfield, set the Frontier League single-season record with 52 goals as a freshman.

A four-time participant in the Empire State Games, she earned two silver medals and one bronze.

Robbins played two seasons of varsity girls lacrosse at IHC, earning a Frontier League All-Star nod as a sophomore. As a senior girls basketball player, she made the league All-Star team and received All-North honorable mention.

After graduating from IHC in 2007, she went on to play Division I soccer at Syracuse University. Robbins, 20, appeared in just one game last year because of a knee injury. This season, as a redshirt freshman, she has appeared in six games.
