Nine people cited with disorderly conduct in incidents in Watertown over the weekend

Watertown police made several disorderly conduct arrests over the weekend:

■ Joel C. Cotto, 20, of 102 Stuart St., and Michael S. Wilson, 25, of 127 Spring Ave., were charged at 1:49 a.m. Saturday at Poor Richard's, 1309 State St., for allegedly fighting with each other. Mr. Cotto also allegedly fought with other patrons and bar staff.

Mr. Cotto additionally was charged with second-degree falsifying business records. While being processed at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, he allegedly said he was not employed but actually is an active-duty soldier at Fort Drum.

Mr. Cotto and Mr. Wilson both were turned over to Fort Drum military police.

■ Sharon K. Brown, 17, of 628 Bronson St., Apt. 604, and John M. Navarra 2nd, 24, of 309 Academy St., were charged at 2:32 a.m. Sunday at 70 Public Square.

Ms. Brown allegedly refused to comply when told by police to disperse after interfering with a vehicle search, while Mr. Navarra allegedly tried to pick a fight with another man, whom police did not identify.

Ms. Brown was held on $100 bail, while Mr. Navarra was released on an appearance ticket.

■ Ruth A. Scott, 33, for whom police gave an address of 709 Franklin St., Apt. 4, was charged at 11:52 p.m. Saturday for allegedly walking through the intersection of Mill and Factory streets. Her actions caused "several vehicles to stop abruptly or swerve around her to avoid hitting her," according to the police report.

Ms. Scott was taken to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment after telling police she had overdosed on a muscle relaxer. She was held there for a mental health evaluation, police said.

■ Jason W. Meeker, 31, of 305 Gotham St., Apt. 4, was charged at 1:58 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Mill Street. Mr. Meeker stepped in front of oncoming traffic, "causing vehicles to suddenly apply their brakes and swerve to avoid hitting the defendant," according to a police report. He was held on $100 bail.

■ Daniel C. Crites, 23, of 10134 N. Riva Ridge Loop, Apt. 258, Fort Drum, was charged at 1:58 a.m. Sunday for allegedly pushing and throwing several punches at staffers of the Pewter Mug, 1313 State St. He was turned over to Fort Drum military police.

■ Rachel E. Watson, 25, of 403 E. Main St., was charged Sunday night in the 200 block of East Main Street in connection with a domestic fight in which police said she shouted profanities at her husband.

■ Taborri L. Lindsey, 25, of 9404D Langdon Drive, Fort Drum, was charged at 12:50 a.m. Saturday at Poor Richard's for raising his hand "in a hostile manner" and attempting to fight with bar staffers, according to police.

All of those charged are to appear in City Court.
