Brian Magovney stopped 11 shots to earn the shutout for the Cavaliers (6-7 overall, 3-6 league) and also hand the Cyclones their first league loss.

Tim Madden had five saves for Watertown (9-5-1, 7-1-1).

Shane Eager scored the winning goal with 11 minutes remaining as the Comets won their last league game with an "A" Division victory at Carthage.

Matt Gallagher finished with two goals, including the insurance goal with three minutes left, and Justin Warner provided one goal and one assist for Carthage (9-5-1, 6-2-1).

David Spaulding converted a penalty kick, and Jeremy Aiken tied the game, 2-2, with the other goal for the Warriors (6-7, 3-6).

SOUTH JEFFERSON 4, SANDY CREEK 1

Patrick Gilligan made nine saves, and four different players scored for the Spartans in their crossover victory over the Comets in Sandy Creek.

Spencer Parsons, Jared Roberts, Mike Parish and Bryan Smith each contributed a goal for South Jefferson (9-3-3, 8-1-2). Kris Shirley connected for a second-half tally to lead Sandy Creek (4-12, 3-10).

Keith Hardy and Nate Kelly each netted a goal for the Red Raiders (9-3-3, 6-2-3) during a crossover victory at Clayton.

Ben Freeman tallied two second-half goals to lead the Golden Knights over the Indians in a "D" Division game at Chaumont.

Brandon Davis collected nine saves as the Red Knights posted a "D" Division shutout against the Patriots in Sackets Harbor.

Conner Taylor took a pass from Dan Mills and scored in the first half for LaFargeville (14-1, 12-1). Taylor returned the favor by assisting on Mills's insurance goal in the second half.

Joe Filley had 13 saves for Sackets Harbor (7-8, 6-7).

Conor Riley scored off passes from Nathan Lint and Clay Allen in the 77th minute to lift the host Red Raiders to a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division victory.
