ALBANY — Clarkson University forward Kali Gillanders was named the women's ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week Monday after picking up one goal and one assist Sunday in a 4-4 tie with Boston College.

Gillanders cut the Eagles lead to 4-3 with a goal early in the third period, and she assisted on the game-tying goal by Kimberly McKenney for the Golden Knights.

A native of Kyle, Saskatchewan, Gillanders is the younger sister of former Colgate men's forward Dustin Gillanders.
