ADAMS — A.J. Capone scored the eventual game-winning goal 16 minutes into the second half as Lowville beat South Jefferson 2-0 in a Frontier League "B" Division boys soccer game on Thursday.

Matt Birchenough added the insurance goal for Lowville (10-3-3 overall, 7-2-3 league).

Zach Haenlin stopped 10 shots for the Red Raiders.

The Spartans' record fell to 9-4-3, 8-2-2.

LYME 4, ALEXANDRIA 0

Josh Lothrop and Cory Walker recorded two goals and two assists apiece as the Indians defeated the Purple Ghosts in a "D" Division game at Alexandria Bay.

Lucas Weston recorded five saves for Lyme (12-3, 11-3).

Alexandria fell to 3-12-1, 2-11.

BEAVER RIVER 0

Strong defensive play from both teams at Clayton resulted in a "C" Division tie.

Lucas Mitchell turned in four saves for the host Vikings (8-6-2, 8-5-2), while Stephen Shambo stopped six shots for the Beavers (3-10-2, 3-9-2).

SANDY CREEK 5, SOUTH LEWIS 0

Jarrett Luberto recorded a goal and an assist, and the Comets defeated the Falcons in a "C" Division game in Sandy Creek.

Sandy Creek improved to 5-12, 4-11.

South Lewis fell to 0-15.

Jon DeFoe tallied a pair of goals to lead the Panthers past the Patriots in a "D" Division game at Henderson.

Chris Leen added a goal and an assist for Belleville Henderson (6-8-2, 5-7-2).

Gage LeClair scored for Sackets Harbor (7-9, 6-8).

Aaron Cote scored both goals for the Yellowjackets in a Northern Athletic Conference East Division game at Brushton.

Tyler Colbert and Kevin Sharlow had assists for Madrid-Waddington (6-6-1, 4-5).

Brushton-Moira dropped to 3-8-1, 3-7-1.

HARRISVILLE 1, LISBON 0

Server Mustafaev netted the game-winner off a pass from Adrian Fraser in the 73rd minute for a West Division win over the Golden Knights in Lisbon.

Tom Coloney earned his seventh shutout of the season with five saves for Harrisville (11-4-1, 9-3).

Zach Premo made 14 saves for Lisbon (9-6-1, 7-4-1).

MASSENA 4, INDIAN RIVER 0

Clay Allen supplied three assists, and Nate Pichette scored two goals to give the Red Raiders a nonleague win over the Warriors in Massena.

J.P. Prashaw and Derek Hammill also scored for Massena (13-3).

Indian River fell to 6-8.
