The Watertown City School District Board of Education approved across-the-board 4 percent salary increases for noon monitors and transportation aides Monday.

Four percent increases also were approved for the majority of the central office administrative staff, with the exception of the school business manager, who will receive an increase of 6.85 percent because she recently passed her civil service exam, and the district clerk, who will not receive an increase because "the board decided that position would not receive an increase," said Superintendent Terry N. Fralick.
