ADAMS CENTER — The state Education Department received the capital project packet for South Jefferson Central School District's $22.8 million renovation, repair and expansion project Monday.

The department told the district that the project's review should take about five months. "They are hoping it will go as quickly as we anticipated," Superintendent Jamie A. Moesel said.
