Regarding the article "Massena yoga program is stalled" (Oct. 2), it continually amazes many Hindus how uneducated (to put in mildly) many are concerning yoga.
The facts are, that all of yoga is Hinduism. Rev. Colin Lucid and others are right to put a stop to what amounts to a phony yoga class. Not only are the students being deceived, but also subliminally taught to disrespect the Hindu/Yogic religion. Like many others, the so-called American Yoga Association has an agenda to distort and steal yoga from the Hindus.
Imagine if federal funds and grants were allocated to seek baptism certifications. After all, underwater therapy is a relaxing and stress-relieving exercise. What is the problem?
