The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 43, Clay, has endorsed Sen. Darrel J. Aubertine, D-Cape Vincent.

"We need more representatives like Darrel in Albany," said William C. Towsley, the local's business manager, in a press release. "He is a man who is not afraid of getting his hands dirty. He stands up for his constituents and has built relationships based on trust that have helped him to accomplish so much for the people he represents. We believe he will be able to do much more in the years ahead."

Mr. Aubertine said: "IBEW Local 43 works hard to protect their members and I am proud that they recognize me as the person who works just as hard in Albany for all working men and women."

Local 43 represents more than 1,200 electric laborers in Central New York.
