Six lax players named academic All-Americans

Six Frontier League girls lacrosse players were selected as U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-Americans for the Upstate region.

Carthage's Gabrielle Kamide was chosen to the team. The Comets' senior captain made the first-team All-America squad for the region. Fellow teammates and juniors Emily Sauter, Olivia Roggie and Katherine DeRonda also earned academic All-America status.

Watertown senior captain Rachel Schneeberger and junior Logan Barnard also garnered spots on the academic All-America team.
