Children's mental health training session scheduled

Community Mental Health Education and the Jefferson-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services will host "Children's Mental Health Training" from 8 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Sept. 3 in BOCES Conference Room A, 20104 Route 3, Watertown.

A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided, and the training workshop will feature a panel on children's resources in the north country.

Speakers are Dr. Kevin Antshel, assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse; Dr. John Savino, child and adolescent psychiatrist for Samaritan Medical Center, and Dr. Jodi Mullen, assistant professor of counseling and psychological services at SUNY Oswego.
