Valentin paces SUNY Canton to narrow victory

POTSDAM — Tony Valentin scored 20 points for SUNY Canton in a 75-73 victory over Paul Smith's in a Sunrise Conference men's basketball game Tuesday at Clarkson University.
Deric Alston scored 15 points and Jajuan Williams tossed in 13 for SUNY Canton (5-13, 3-5). Brad Marshall led Paul Smith's (0-16) with 26 points and 12 rebounds.
