South Jefferson cruises to another league victory

ADAMS — Cassie St. Hilaire scored 18 points South Jefferson cruised to another Frontier League "B" Division win, 66-18, over General Brown in girls basketball Wednesday.

Maddy Wetterhahn scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds while Rachael Bassett supplied seven points and seven assists for South Jefferson (15-0 overall, 14-0 league).

Lindsay Hanson scored 10 points to lead General Brown (9-6, 9-5).

INDIAN RIVER 49, LOWVILLE 37

Taylore Kelsey connected for five 3-point goals and finished with 19 points to lead the Warriors to the crossover victory at Lowville.

Kaitlyn Rajner pitched in with 12 points, Jessica Dailey distributed 10 assists and Anna Lam grabbed 14 rebounds for Indian River (9-6, 6-4).

Chelsea Finn scored nine points to lead the Red Raiders (4-11, 4-10).

LAFARGEVILLE 48, ALEXANDRIA 37

Rachel Klock scored 11 points to go with a pair of steals and a pair of assists as the Red Knights earned the final spot in the "D" Division playoffs with a win in Alexandria Bay.

Joan Rhone supplied six steals and six points, Taylor Switzer added six points and six assists and Taylor Davis grabbed 10 rebounds for LaFargeville (4-11).

Alexandria fell to 5-12 overall.

OFA 64, IHC 56

Lindsay Drummond scored 24 points to lead Ogdensburg Free Academy (9-7) past Immaculate Heart Central in a nonleague game in Ogdensburg.

MacKenzie Cole added 12 points for OFA.

Jillian Young led IHC (8-7) with 19 points. Adriana Spicer scored 13 points and Angela Vespa added 12 for the Cavaliers.

Kanika Misra scored 14 points and Tessa Curry added 12 to lead the Sandstoners (6-8) past the Flyers (1-10) in a nonleague game in Potsdam.
