Wolcott helps Saints to best finish of season

Eric Wolcott finished a career-best fourth in the 15-kilometer freestyle to help the St. Lawrence University men's Nordic team take second-place overall Sunday in the University of Vermont's UVM Carnival.

Wolcott registered a time of 27 minutes, 19.9 seconds to equal his best finish as the Saints recorded their top team finish of the season.

Middlebury College took first with 106 points, followed by SLU's 98.

Zach Wetherell and Ben Knowles finished 10th and 13th, respectively, for the Saints.

For the women, Leah Hart was 23rd in the 10K frestyle as the Saints took nineth overall.
