Roughly $300,000 in funding for Fort Drum's Central Issue Facility has been fully restored, saving dozens of jobs provided by Jefferson Rehabilitation Center, the agency announced Friday.

The base expected to lose more than $36 million in funding for fiscal year 2010, which began in October, or roughly 30 percent of its $119 million budget in fiscal year 2009.

While dozens of JRC workers were expected to lose their jobs because of the initial cutback, it was unclear late Friday to what degree workers were affected during the monthlong lapse in funding.

Under the initial job cut proposal, full-time workers would have lost eight hours, while part-time workers would lose four hours, JRC's community relations manager told the Times in late January.
