Clarkson (7-22-3 overall, 3-15-2 conference) ends its home schedule this weekend with a pair of games against Harvard and Dartmouth.

The Golden Knights will finish in last place in ECAC Hockey , no matter what happens this weekend. But Clarkson, which is 6-7-1 at home, can finish with a winning record in Cheel Arena with a weekend sweep.

Tonight's game against Harvard (7-17-3, 7-10-3) will begin at 7:30 p.m., or possibly later, because there is a women's playoff game featuring St. Lawrence University and Clarkson at 4 p.m. in the building.

Stat of the Night: Harvard is 0-5-1 in its last six games at Cheel Arena.

Who to Watch

Clarkson: Matt Beca has five goals and two assists in nine career games against Harvard. Tim Marks has one goal and two assists in eight games against the Crimson. Paul Karpowich is 0-1-1 with a 3.36 goals-against average and an .808 save percentage against the Crimson.

Harvard: Doug Rogers has two goals and four assists in nine career games against the Golden Knights. Matt McCollem has one goal and two assists in three games. Kyle Richter is 0-4 with a 3.31 goals-against average and an .882 save percentage and Ryan Carroll is 0-0-2 with a 2.31 goals-against average and .900 save percentage against Clarkson.

Special Teams Watch

Clarkson: Matt Beca, Brandon DeFazio and Adam Pawlick each have five power-play goals this season. Beca also has a shorthanded goal. Clarkson has scored on 16.2 percent of its power plays and has killed 76.6 percent of its penalties. The Golden Knights have four shorthanded goals and have allowed three.

Harvard: Louis Leblanc, Alex Killorn, Daniel Moriarty and Marshall Everson each have three power-play goals for the Crimson. Harvard has converted on 18.4 percent of its chances and killed 78.9 percent of its penalties. The Crimson have one shorthanded goal and have allowed four.

Last Meeting: Clarkson was trailing 2-0 late at the Bright Hockey Center on Nov. 21 when Brian Rufenach and Matt Beca scored 32 seconds apart in the final four minutes of the game to salvage a 2-2 tie for the Golden Knights. Louis Leblanc and Marshall Everson scored for Harvard.

Stats and Notes: Both Clarkson and Harvard struggle this year in games where they don't score at least three goals. Clarkson is 0-16-1 and Harvard is 0-12-1 in those circumstances. ... Harvard is 1-0-2 in its last three games against Clarkson. ... When Clarkson goalies don't stop at least 90 percent of opposing shots the team is just 1-13-1. Paul Karpowich has hit the 90-percent mark in four of his last five games. ... Matt Beca has scored a goal in four straight games and is one goal shy of 20 for the season. Steve Zalewski, who scored 21 goals in 2007-08, is the only Golden Knight to hit 20 goals in the 2000s. ... Scott Freeman has two goals in his last three games and Nick Tremblay has six assists in his last six games.
