With the hungry, homeless, displaced, sick and dying people in this country, when are our leaders, and I use that word loosely, going to make it a priority to take care of our own legal residents of this country before they throw trillions of dollars to other countries?

It's getting so that every country in the world, including our enemies, know we will bail them out because we are supposed to be so "rich." In fact, most of us working stiffs work very hard for what we have and try to keep, just to pay huge taxes so the administration can give it to people who will not or have not lifted a finger to help themselves. Time to tell them to take care of your own, because I, and I'm sure millions and millions of others, are tired of supporting the world.

Time to get rid of all the worthless politicians and hire all new ones, and I don't mean people who are already filthy rich and were previously lawyers. No wonder they are so crooked.

On the subject of our governor, a lot of people don't like him because they feel they are getting the raw end. Well, it seems to me that it's kind of tough to do a decent job when first and foremost President Obama has the nerve to ask him not to run for re-election. Where did that come from? In my 63 years I have never heard of a president getting involved in such things. Ever since President Obama got involved, it seems like everyone in the state Legislature has worked against Gov. David Paterson and are still doing so. How can a man try to save this state with his hands tied behind his back?

The entire bunch of politicians right from small towns to President Obama need an attitude adjustment and to be made to work for a living like the rest of us. Quit giving all our money away or you may be out of a job, I hope.
