Retired Lee Road dairy farmer.

TURIN - Kenneth H. Hill, 93, of Lee Road, died Thursday evening, March 4, 2010 at Rome Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville with Rev. Joan Ripp, Pastor of Talcottville and Hawkinsville United Methodist Churches officiating. Calling hours will be from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., prior to the funeral. Spring burial will be in Old Glendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society CNY Region, 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.

Born on October 23, 1916 in the Town of Turin, a son of Henry Hill and Cora Mumford Hill. He attended local schools, and graduated from Lyons Falls High School. On October 21, 1947, he married Evelyn Millard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Millard of Turin, N.Y., at the Turin Methodist Church, with Rev. Joseph Elkins, minister. Mrs. Hill died January 28, 1968.

Five brothers died before him, Jason, Wilson, Dewey, Robert and Bernard.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James (Patricia) Markham of Camillus, N.Y.; and Deborah Oakes of Turin, N.Y.; One son, Gerald Hill of Suffern, N.Y. He had seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is also survived by cousins, nephews and nieces.

He attended Forest Presbyterian Church at Lyons Falls.
