She was a devoted mother and homemaker, who loved entertaining family and friends. She was happiest when surrounded by her grand children and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and baker, and enjoyed dancing and pinochle.

Surviving are a daughter, Maureen Knipp, New Windsor, New York, and three sons and daughters-in-law, James (Mickey) and Linda, Maurice (Rease) and Marion, Callicoon, and Terrence and Maria, Carthage, New York, twelve grand children, fourteen great-grand children and several nieces and nephews.

For the past three years, she was lovingly cared for by Oksana Popovych of the Ukraine.

There will be no calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 1 PM at Holy Cross Church, Route 97, Callicoon. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Callicoon.
