POTSDAM — Brownville native Tim Marks has been signed to an amateur tryout contract by the American Hockey League's Norfolk Admirals and could play in home games this weekend against Bridgeport.
Norfolk is the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey Leagues Tampa Bay Lightning and will host Bridgeport at 7:15 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Marks, 25, recently ended his collegiate career at Clarkson, as the Golden Knights were eliminated from the ECAC Hockey playoffs in a three-game series at St. Lawrence University on Sunday. The 6-foot-2, 217-pound forward finished the season with five goals and four assists in 35 games.
A power forward who played some defense, Marks finished his Clarkson career playing in 141 games with 14 goals and 22 assists.
