'Selling to Government' topic of JCC event March 30

Area companies can create valuable connections and opportunities to sell products and services to the government by attending the "Selling to the Government and Matchmaking Event" from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 30 at Jefferson Community College.

Rep. William L. Owens, D-Plattsburgh, will be the featured special guest at the event which had more than 100 participants in 2009.

The Small Business Development Center and North Country Procurement Technical Assistance Center are presenting the event, which will offer appointments with agencies, prime contractors and corporate sponsors.

Required registration by March 22 is $35, but early-bird registration by today is $25. For more information or to register, call the Small Business Development Center at 782-9262.
