Two people are charged with driving while intoxicated.

■ Paige S. Petty, 19, Theodore, Ala., is additionally cited with consuming an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle, driving without a license and having an inadequate license plate lamp in connection with her arrest at 12:30 a.m. Friday on Route 178 in Adams, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Her breath test reading was listed as 0.08 percent blood alcohol content, matching the state's threshold for intoxication.

■ Billie-Jo Kuczynski, 44, Canastota, was arrested by state police at 6 p.m. Thursday in the northbound lane of Interstate 81 in the town of Sandy Creek. Her blood test result was not available Friday.
