Jeffrey McLaughlin

NORTH LAWRENCE — A Funeral Mass for Jeffrey M. McLaughlin, 44, of North Lawrence will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church in North Law-rence with the Rev. Patrick Ratigan celebrating.

Burial will be in St. Law-rence Cemetery in North Law-rence in the spring.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 pm. at the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.

Jeffrey passed away unexpectedly Thursday (March 11, 2010) at Canton Potsdam Hospital.

He is survived by his mother, Charmaine; his brothers and sisters, Nancy and Russell Todd of Honeoye Falls, Arnold and Dolina McLaughlin of Austin, Texas, Robin and Pamela McLaughlin of Lawrenceville, Steven and Vicky McLaughlin of Syracuse, Kim McLaughlin and companion Audrey Sargent of Watertown, Cindy and Robert Roberts of Queensbury and Victor "Andy" McLaughlin of North Lawrence; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Victor; one brother, Edgar Alan; and a nephew, Luke.

Jeffrey was born on May 1, 1965 in Potsdam, son of Victor A. and C. Charmaine King McLaughlin.

He graduated from St. Law-rence Central School in 1984 and traveled the country driving truck.

Jeffrey had a hobby farm with a passion for horses and enjoyed hunting and 4-wheeling.

He was a member of the Lawrenceville Fire Department and a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
