The following motorists were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

■ Douglas S. Wood, 48, of 145 Pike Road, Canton, was charged by village police with aggravated DWI about 5:56 p.m. Friday at his home. Police said a witness saw Mr. Wood back into a parked vehicle in the lot behind the municipal building at 60 Main St., then speed away, running a stop sign. His blood alcohol content was 0.20 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more constitutes intoxication under state law; aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more. He also was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, backing unsafely and failing to stop at a stop sign.

■ Daniel J. Meyers, 39, Syracuse, was arrested by state police at 9:20 p.m. Friday on Route 11 in the town of Watertown. His BAC was 0.08 percent, police said.

■ Lena L. Weaver, 46, Adams, was arrested by state police at 12:07 p.m. Saturday on County Route 165 in the town of Watertown. Her BAC was 0.08 percent, police said.

■ Theodore T. Nevills, 49, Copenhagen, was arrested by state police at 12:10 a.m. Saturday on County Route 165 in the town of Watertown. His BAC was 0.08 percent, police said.

■ Bradley M. Crump, 19, Massena, was charged by Potsdam village police with aggravated DWI at 2:49 a.m. Saturday on Pierrepont Avenue. His BAC was not available. Police said they stopped him because he had a shopping cart from Walmart in the back of his truck. Walmart declined to prosecute, so there were no larceny charges filed against Mr. Crump or his two unnamed passengers, police said.
