R. Bruce Graban

Robert Bruce Graban, 62, 218 Phelps St., Watertown passed March 12, 2010 at his home.

Born March 23, 1947 in Manhattan, NY, son of George B. and Doris E. Carpenter Graban, he graduated from Roosevelt High in Yonkers, NY.

He married Sharon M. LaFave on March 5, 1972, at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. J. Roger McGuiness officiating.

Mr. Graban worked at JCC as a custodian for 30 years, retiring in 2002. Mrs. Graban worked for Jefferson County Dept. of Social Services for 13 years, retiring in 2003. Mrs. Graban passed Feb. 10, 2009.

Surviving are a daughter, Gail L. Graban; two sons and a daughter in law, Thomas W. and Kelly S. Graban, Peter B. Graban; five grandchildren, Thomas W. Graban II, Jordan, Ian, Kira, and Jena Graban all of Watertown, and two dachshunds, Carl and Maggie.

A funeral service will be Monday March 15th at 8:30 p.m. at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Calling hours will be prior to the service 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
