Civil service test results for fire chief jobs received

Elizabeth U. Morris, executive secretary to the Civil Service Commission, received the results Tuesday afternoon of the civil service tests taken in January by candidates for the Watertown fire chief and deputy fire chief positions.

The city Civil Service Commission must review the results before any information is made public. The commission is scheduled to meet next on April 20, although it can schedule a special meeting before that date.

Both positions will be vacant as of April 10.
